The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 2009 to accomplish the need of IT sector. The Department is well equipped with the basic resources. The Department comprises of well qualified and dedicated faculty members. The Department was upgraded into a post graduate stream in the year 2012.

The academic performance of the department is outstanding. The department has made an everlasting impression in the world of computer education. Since, the aim of the department is to reach the zenith; it is taking the required steps focusing towards the goal.

Program Outcomes (Pos) :

PO 1: Apply the knowledge of computing and mathematics appropriate to the discipline

PO 2:  Analyze a problem, and identify and define the computing requirements appropriate to its solution

PO 3: Potentially design, implement, and evaluate a computer-based system, process, component, or program to meet desired needs

PO 4 : Strengthen  to identify, formulate, and develop solutions to computational challenges.

PO 5: understand professional, ethical, legal, security, and social issues and responsibilities for the computing profession.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

PSO1  : To apply mathematical methodologies to solve computation task, model real world problem using appropriate data structure and suitable algorithm.

PSO2  : To use knowledge in various domains to identify research gaps accordingly provide solution to new ideas and innovations

CO 1 : Apply good analytic, design, and implementation skills required to formulate and solve computer science problems.

CO 2 : Be able to draw upon foundational knowledge, learn, adapt and successfully bring to bear analytical and computational approaches on changing societal and technological challenges.

CO3 :  Exhibit Proficiency in problem solving techniques using the computer.

CO 4 : Be equipped with the Fundamental understanding and practical skills required by the IT industry.

Advanced Degree
